NEW SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 13, 2008

As everyone is aware, the cost of energy has increased dramatically over the past 18 months. Because of this, our shipping costs have increased considerably as well. After evaluating the effect these increases have had on our business (and loyal customers), Sun & Earth has decided to continue to absorb much of the costs associated with shipping and handling. Unfortunately, a change is needed for us to remain competitive in producing non-toxic, natural cleaning products. We have decided that we can no longer offer completely free shipping; instead, we developed a sharing plan to offset some of the cost. We have decided to utilize UPS Shipping Zones as our S & H charge-determinant. Customers living in LA, AR, MO, IA, MN on westward will be charged $15.00 for S & H. States eastward will be charged $10.00 for S & H. There are some exceptions. For instance, the southern part of FL will be charged $15.00. We will continue to offer a $5.00 shipping discount on all orders over $50.00. This S & H charge may affect how frequent you order from us or the product size you are accustomed to ordering. You can actually save on shipping by placing orders less frequently and increasing the size of your order. For example, instead of ordering from us every month, order a 2-month supply and save on shipping. This was a hard decision for us but, to continue to offer web and mail order sales it is necessary. Sun & Earth Launches "We're Local" Campaign
|

In early 2010, Sun & Earth began a promotional campaign emphasizing our self-manufacturing (that's right, we fill all of our own liquid products in King of Prussia, PA) and socially-responsible philosophy. By "hanging" information tags (image to the left: front of tag) from our laundry detergent bottles, consumers were immediately provided relevant information at the point of purchase potentially influencing their buying decision.
Feedback was positive and immediate so additional products were identified and included in the increasingly successful program. Quickly realizing we were unable to keep up with "tag" demand, we enlisted the help of The Pathway School to assist us with our campaign. Without Pathway's ability to rapidly turnaround our "bottleneck hangers", we would not have been able to successfuly launch our We're LOCAL Campaign.
