Normally I'm not the cleaning type of man. So, when I received an invitation to head up the retail and web pod here at Sun & Earth, I took up the challenge of bringing some products home to test them out. The label on the bottle of the All-Purpose Cleaner says "Tough on Grease." I sprayed a few of the dirty tiles in my kitchen, waited a few moments and then wiped them clean. Much to my surprise, not only were the tiles clean, but I also found myself unable to stop spraying and cleaning. All over the kitchen. I cleaned the refrigerator doors, the range, stove top and kitchen counters. I even noticed fingerprints on the cabinets and sprayed them, too. In fact, it was less my mind and more my body that wanted to keep on cleaning. And as you may know, the labels on our products say "Citrus Power," so maybe that was what propelled me onward. With the cleaner in my hand, I was "Super Citrus Man." |

As I write this posting, my first for Sun & Earth, it's hard to resist the temptation to brag about how great our green household cleaning and laundry products really are. Part of me would like nothing better than to list the dozens of reasons you ought purchase our products so you, too, can experience the same energy rush I experienced. So instead, I hope you will discover for yourself just how good you feel when you and your world are clean of impurities, not just of the grease and grime of daily living, but of the associated chemical compounds used in outdated, toxic household cleaners. Then you can send me YOUR story. Yesterday, we accepted chemical cleaners with artificial scents and high costs. Today we accept natural cleaners with ecological formulations and fair prices. Tomorrow, we will only accept refillable containers with authentic aromas inspired by people dedicated to sustainable living. Together, we will shape Sun & Earth to support the kind of relationships we can live with - for our bodies, our families, our homes, our clothes and our community supported environments. |
